Christmas in Arizona

We had a great Christmas this year! It was great to spend time with the Ward family and boys were very relieved that Santa knew to bring their things to Nana and Papa's house.

Thanksgiving in Kirtland, OH

I think that this Thanksgiving was one of the best I have ever had. We got to go up to Kirtland, OH where Brett's great Aunt Geraldine and Uncle Herm are serving a mission at the visitor's center. We got to eat dinner right in the visitor's center with all of the missionaries and then went over to Herm and Geraldine's apartment to play games, visit, hang out, etc. It was so fun to spend time with family because we have gotten so little of that while living out here in Ohio. I think it was fun for them to be around our wild kids because they don't have family besides us around here either. This was our first Thanksgiving not at our house while living here in Ohio and I must say that it was nice to not have to cook (although I do cook a mean turkey). We had such a wonderful time and this Thanksgiving will always have a special place in my heart.

Sort of Crawling

This is really for the grandmas and anyone else who cares. Cole was REALLY proud of Emma in the first one...that is him laughing in the background. And yes, that is drool throughout the videos, and yes, she is reminiscent of the dog (Hooch) in "Turner and Hooch".

The Halloween Costumes

I never got good pictures of the kid's halloween costumes because of the "sad Halloween" described in the previous post, so here are some pictures of how cute/tough they would have been. I finally got around to it :)

Sad Halloween

There are no pictures for this Halloween blog post. Why, you ask? Because all of us besides Emma had the stomach flu. Parker couldn't go to school in his costume on halloween and there was no trick-or-treating because we were all puking everywhere. There is nothing worse than being a mom with the stomach flu and having kids with the stomach flu and having to clean up after them. I just wanted to quit. We will take pictures later of the boys in their costumes, but for now, we are all just laying around all day and doing loads and loads of nasty puke laundry. So, happy freaking halloween everyone :)

Circle S Farms

Good fall fun... corn maze, hay barn slides, donuts, hay ride, pumpkin patch, chickens... what more could kids want? We had a good time and it was a beautiful fall day to be outside.

Penn State Game

Brett and I got to go to the Ohio State/Penn State game last weekend. I had never been to a night game before and this was a big one to be at. Night games are nice because our kids are asleep for most of it so the babysitter is not having to put up with them all day. We had a lot of fun and screamed our heads off almost the entire game. The atmosphere was awesome and the amount of red was just crazy. I love football season!!!
